Tanniel: a military man who gave service to both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire. In the period of the Clone Wars, under the authority of the Sector Governance Decree, he was made Moff of the Quelii Oversector and took command of the 10th Sector Army. Once Emperor Palpatine announced his Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Tanniel rose to become one of the initial twenty Grand Moffs. Subsequently, he supervised the creation of the Imperial storm commandos. Tanniel put Crix Madine in command of the initial storm commando group deployed during the Galactic Civil War.
