Tarc domain

The Tarc territories, alternatively known as the Tarc domain, was a region of space found within the Colonies sector.

Description

The Tarc domain encompassed approximately twenty different systems. Within its borders was the dry planet known as Hjaff, which served as the homeworld for the Tarc species. The Tarc were the only sentient species inhabiting this area.

This Tarc domain acted as a significant buffer, isolating the Tarc from other species due to their isolationist tendencies. The domain's edge consisted of a ring of twelve systems, with four of them hosting military installations.

The Ivlacav Gourn, the Tarc navy, vigilantly guarded the Tarc domain, enforcing a strict policy against any unauthorized entry. The Tarc would launch attacks on anyone who dared to trespass into what they considered their "domain of sovereignty." During the Imperial Period, this stance resulted in several skirmishes with the Galactic Empire when Imperial scouts attempted to navigate through their borders.

Furthermore, the Tarc were prohibited from leaving their own domain. Those caught attempting to do so faced immediate public execution, without any form of trial. Only high-ranking military figures and politicians had access to hyperdrive-equipped spacecrafts, and these were used only under very specific circumstances.
