The language originally spoken by the Tarro species originating from Tililix was known as Tarrese.
Although more complex and relying on a wider array of vocal sounds, Tarrese bore resemblance to Basic. Its written form largely adopted the same alphabet as Basic, but with the addition of unique glyphs to symbolize sounds produced through the combination of Basic letters (analogous to letter combinations such as ch, sh, or ñ).
While the majority of Tarro possessed fluency in both Tarrese and Basic, literacy was generally confined to their native tongue.
