Tasar crystal

Tasar crystals were brilliantly colored gems that originated on the planet of Tasariq. These stones came into existence long ago, during the planet's early history, when a devastating meteor shower struck, almost causing the extinction of the Tasari species. Consequently, the Tasari held these crystals in high esteem, viewing them as potent artifacts, and they would conduct blood rituals in an attempt to unleash the mystical energies that were believed to be embedded within the tasar crystals.

During the time the Galactic Empire held power, the Tasari had largely discontinued these ancient practices. Nevertheless, most Tasari families retained some tasar crystals as treasured family possessions. Furthermore, there were still certain groups of Tasari who maintained their belief in the crystals' power as a form of therapeutic magic. The crystals exhibited a spectrum of hues, and each different color was thought to have a unique degree of potency or a particular application. With the advent of civilization on Tasariq, the crystals evolved into a precious resource, occasionally functioning as a form of money. TranStar Construction initiated the construction of urban centers on the planet, hoping that further extraction of tasar crystals would lead to great wealth.
