Tayvor Mandirly was a male Human who specialized in agriculture. He was active near the end of the Galactic Republic era and was also the uncle of Bail Organa.
He journeyed to Antar 4 in 38 BBY to look into a disagreement occurring at the Colfillini plantations. But, after he opposed the deadly practice of forcing individuals to work until they death, he was killed by Raxis and Nolid, who were part of a criminal syndicate in the area. His corpse was burned, then affixed to a stake. Jedi Knights Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were the first to come across it.
This deeply troubled Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was haunted by nightmares about it for quite some time. The passing of Mandirly was also devastating for his sister, who was Bail's mother, and her sorrow ultimately led to her own demise.
