Temperance, a settlement situated on the world of Nyriaan, was a notable locale.
A group of off-world merchants founded Temperance in close proximity to the indigenous community of Starveil. Despite a slow start in terms of business, the town eventually became frequented by the locals, who utilized a great deal of salvaged and outmoded tech, seeking weaponry and replacement components. Although some traders initially tried to sell substandard items, the Nyriaanans were quick to reprimand any merchant found to be dealing in faulty merchandise.
On the periphery of the settlement, the Temperance Arena was built, where gladiatorial contests were held on a weekly basis.
