Thakwaash

Each Thakwaash possessed multiple distinct personalities, with each one specializing in a specific function. This multiplicity of minds was their normal mental state and was not considered a psychosis, unlike what would be seen in a Human. As they matured and developed, they typically uncovered additional "minds" and became more proficient at transitioning between them. These personalities exhibited a range of skills, behaviors, and perspectives on life. Examples included a talented but undisciplined pilot, a composed and courteous individual adept at socializing, an arrogant and elitist persona, and even an insane one (which posed minimal issues due to their ability to switch to other "minds"). This capability also aided them in understanding the thought processes of others, thereby enhancing their capacity to replicate their target's writing or thought patterns.

Furthermore, they possessed strength levels approximately three times greater than that of an average human male. For instance, Hohass Ekwesh demonstrated the ability to kill a 100-kilogram man by "casually" swinging him into a wall using only one hand, despite being considered undersized for his kind. Due to their unpredictable nature, size, and strength, the Galactic Empire abandoned their attempts to conquer the Thakwaash homeworld.

The Thakwaash were affiliated with the New Republic. Hohass Ekwesh, a pilot in Wraith Squadron, was a Thakwaash. Ekwesh earned the nickname "Runt" due to his relatively short stature of two meters, which was considered small for his species.
