The Clone Wars: Season One

The initial season one of the animated TV show Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted on October 3, 2008. This premiere featured the broadcast of both "Ambush" and "Rising Malevolence" on the Cartoon Network channel.

Feature film

Originally, four episodes were planned for inclusion in the first season. However, these episodes were subsequently merged and distributed as a theatrical animated movie, titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was released on August 15, 2008.

Decoded

Several episodes from the initial season were re-aired under the title Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Decoded. These broadcasts incorporated pop-up boxes that presented trivia and behind-the-scenes details relevant to each specific episode.
