The Pits, a district situated on the southern edge of Gorse City, a populated area on the world of Gorse, came into being within an abandoned thorilide mining excavation site. Within The Pits existed Okadiah Garson's establishment, the cantina named The Asteroid Belt, as well as Okadiah's flophouse. A substantial number of miners resided there, frequently traveling for their work on the moon Cynda.
