The Spira Regatta represents a role-playing game module crafted for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. Its initial release was within the pages of Star Wars Adventure Journal 1 in February of 1994. Paul Sudlow penned the adventure, accompanied by illustrations created by Doug Shuler. Subsequently, it found its way into The Best of the Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issues 1-4 as a reprint.
The setting for this adventure is the planet Spira. A team of operatives affiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic land on this water-dominated world with the mission of recovering a cache of essential medical provisions and military equipment. This shipment had been deliberately submerged in the depths of the ocean. To secretly extract these supplies, concealed within the remnants of an old alien wreck, without drawing the attention of the resident Imperial forces, the Rebel group decides to enter the yearly yacht competition, known as the Spira Regatta Open.
