Ancient vertical passageways, known as Thrella wells, were constructed long ago by the Thrella species on the world of Mimban. Following the Thrella's demise, the Coway tribes linked several of the tunnels they had made themselves to these wells. This allowed them to ascend from their underground society to the surface of the planet.
