Tony DiTerlizzi, a highly successful author, is widely recognized for his collaborative work with Holly Black on The Spiderwick Chronicles series. He is also the creator of works such as Kenny & the Dragon and the WondLa series, with the latest installment, The Battle for WondLa, hitting shelves on May 6, 2014.
DiTerlizzi also penned The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, a picture book adaptation of the Star Wars original trilogy, featuring illustrations using concept art by Ralph McQuarrie.
His daughter, Sophia, is described as being a "huge Star Wars nerd."
