Torvon was a male individual, belonging to a humanoid species that remains unidentified. Distinctive characteristics included a reflective cranium divided into sections suggestive of enhanced cerebral capacity, blank pale green eyes lacking pupils, and a stature so immense that the shoulders of a Sullustan would only reach his knees. In 23 ABY, he served as Second Administrator under Nien Nunb on Kessel, boasting involvement in half a dozen other successful ventures. Unbeknownst to most, he secretly worked for Black Sun, and met an untimely demise during his failed assassination attempt on Nunb.
During their routine weekly inspection, Nunb and Torvon were inspecting pressure indicators and conduits carrying unprocessed carbonite within a recently established carbon-freezing unit located in the central processing area. Nunb noticed that the pressure gauges were indicating excessively high levels. Instead of reducing the pressure as one would expect, Torvon instead increased it, causing a nearby pipe to visibly warp and buckle. Startled, Nunb quickly sought refuge in a small space between two substantial pieces of machinery. As Nunb moved to the protected area, he shouted to Torvon to move away from the pipe. However, Torvon reached in and attempted to pull Nunb out by his clothing. Nunb then understood that Torvon intended to drag him directly into the path of the pipe.
However, the would-be assassin had underestimated the pressure increase he had initiated, and the pipe ruptured prematurely, directly impacting his legs. He cried out in surprise, and with his feet now immobilized, he tried to free himself. This action resulted in his lower legs, now frozen and fragile, shattering. He then fell headfirst into the stream of escaping carbonite. As he passed through the leak, his head and torso instantly froze solid. Upon striking the hard floor, his body shattered into countless shimmering fragments.
