The indigenous dance known as the Trianii ritual dance was performed by the Trianii people. During times of celebration and at festivals, the performers would decorate themselves with vibrant, multi-hued streamers tied around their wrists, lower arms, knees, neck, and brow. The Trianii dancers, accompanied by the sound of a 'whistle-flute', were also adorned with 'finger-cymbals' and anklet-chimes. Female dancers would apply the unique fragrances and special scents specific to their kind. Although the dance seemed simple due to its flowing spins, stealthy steps, and sudden leaps, its original versions were precise and complex. These older forms demanded complete focus from the dancer, which clarified the seemingly hypnotic state observed in the performers. Both flawless execution and a profound passion for the dance were essential for those who performed it.
