Spacetug

Pictured is a CT-11 space tug. A spacetug, also known by names such as tug, space tug or tugship, represented a specific class of starship designed for the purpose of relocating other ships or structures. This process typically involved either physically connecting to the object in question or employing tractor beams. Capital ships relied on tugs for the loading and unloading of cargo containers. While some tugs, such as the Heavy Lifter, were equipped with hyperdrives, it was more common for them to lack this capability. Similarly, tugs were generally unarmed, although models equipped with weapons did exist.
