The Tuhgri were a sapient race who originated on the world of Ehjenla, which was located within the Kathol Outback.
Typically, Tuhgri individuals reached a height of approximately 1.25 meters and exhibited reddish, speckled skin. They lacked any hair and possessed long, thin arms that terminated in hands with six fingers each. Bony crests traversed the Tuhgri's head, offering protection to their brains, and their noses had a diamond-like shape with four separate nostrils. Furthermore, Tuhgri had small eyes and ears, along with strong leg muscles that allowed them to jump as high as four meters and as far as eight meters.
Organized into tribes, the Tuhgri were led by a single leader, called the Gaawan, who oversaw their respective tribe. Annually, all the Gaawans convened at the House of Balance to resolve conflicts or enact policies that affected the entire planet. During this assembly, each tribe was considered equal, irrespective of their political power or military strength. The Tuhgri were deeply devoted to their tribes and fostered strong bonds with all tribal members. This connection extended to anyone with whom the Tuhgri had interacted for a duration of three months.
The Tuhgri held the conviction that the Great Creator supplied them with everything essential for their survival. This conviction influenced their societal structure, and their primary law forbade individual ownership of possessions. Any Tuhgri requiring something could borrow it until it was no longer needed. Unsurprisingly, this lifestyle did not endear them to other inhabitants of the sector, resulting in bans on Tuhgri on numerous planets. Nevertheless, Tuhgri freely offered whatever they possessed to those in need, while anticipating reciprocal generosity.
