TurboDyne 99-U
The TurboDyne 99-U engine, a product of Elsinore-Cordova Engineering, was a Podracer component used before the Invasion of Naboo. Wan Sandage flew with it.
Characteristics
Despite its considerable dimensions, the TurboDune 99-U offered unexpected agility in Podracing. Its strengths included impressive acceleration, excellent traction, and effective airbrakes, enabling it to navigate complex, twisting tracks effectively. To offset a marginal deficiency in maximum velocity, it incorporated a satisfactory boost system. However, its repair system wasn't ideal.
