Ukert, an Ugnaught smuggler from the Ubskai clan, operated a minor criminal enterprise on the world of Kothlis. A notable competitor of his was the Bothan crime boss, Maxeena Sov'lya. On Kothlis, Ukert also possessed a legitimate business: Reclamation Services, Inc., a recycling company. In secret, Ukert acted as an intermediary for the Rebel Alliance, concealing weaponry sourced from the Botha Ammunitions Corporation inside recycling containers.
