This high-end BD-3000 droid, a model of luxury, had its assignment on the world of Alderaan during the period known as the Clone Wars.
After the failed attempt to murder Senator Padmé Amidala while she was on a diplomatic visit to Alderaan, the padawan Ahsoka Tano set up a sting operation to capture the assassin Aurra Sing. The plan involved this very BD-3000 luxury droid, disguised with a robe, standing in for Padmé at the meeting. Padmé delivered her address to the conference remotely, speaking through the droid from her private rooms.
