Unidentified Bothan vice chancellor

A Bothan held the position of vice chancellor within the Galactic Republic, reporting to Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum, as a member of the Office of the Supreme Chancellor back in 34 BBY. During a Galactic Senate meeting on the planet Coruscant's Senate Rotunda, where the creation of a military was being debated, the Bothan, amid the uproar, pointlessly demanded silence. Following Valorum's request for the Senate to supply private militaries to deal with a blockade affecting the planet Yinchorr, the vice chancellor was compelled to attempt to restore order. Soon after this event, the Bothan authorized Lott Dod, the senator representing the Trade Federation, to address the assembly. Sate Pestage, an aide to Senator Palpatine of Naboo, remarked that the Bothan's timing in doing so was, as always, perfectly impeccable.
