The serpent encountered by the droids
When C-3PO and R2-D2 found themselves marooned on a planet because their space vessel was in need of space crystals, they encountered this giant serpent. Displaying yellow eyes, orange scales, and sharp ridges along its back, the serpent guarded the route to a cave that housed the crystals they needed. The droids gained access to the cave when, suggested by Artoo, C-3PO soothed the serpent into slumber by stroking its underbelly.
