Unidentified Gotal traffic controller

A male Gotal serving as a traffic controller at Atzerri's Air Traffic Control on the planet of Atzerri, was active during the closing years of the Galactic Republic. Around 22 BBY, he and his colleague, the Human named Elmyo, contacted Jango Fett's ship, the Mandalorian bounty hunter's vessel, when it entered Atzerri's atmosphere. Elmyo suggested initiating negotiations regarding the landing fee, at which point the Gotal traffic controller expressed his apologies for the man's disrespect towards the well-known bounty hunter. The Gotal requested that Fett verify his identity, but the bounty hunter instead responded by firing two rockets at their traffic control ship, resulting in the deaths of both the Gotal and Elmyo.

Biography

During the final decades of the Galactic Republic, a male Gotal was employed by Atzerri's Air Traffic Control on the planet of Atzerri. Around the year of 22 BBY, he held the position of an officer and was in the process of training a new recruit, the Human named Elmyo.

The Gotal traffic controller takes away Elmyo's comlink.

In that same year, while on duty, the Gotal and Elmyo intercepted the starship known as Slave I. This ship belonged to Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, after its arrival into Atzerri's atmosphere. Using the traffic control ship's comlink, the Gotal contacted Fett and inquired whether he had previously visited Atzerri. Upon Fett's confirmation, Elmyo suggested commencing negotiations regarding the landing fee. However, he was interrupted when Fett revealed his identity. As Elmyo, unaware of Fett's reputation as a bounty hunter, continued to speak with the Mandalorian, the Gotal took the comlink from the Human and apologized to Fett for Elmyo's disrespectful conduct. The Gotal then requested that Fett provide verification of his identity. In response, the Mandalorian launched two rockets at the Gotal's ship, destroying the starship and killing both the Gotal and Elmyo.

Personality and traits

The Gotal possessed brown hair and eyes of a yellow hue. When Jango Fett identified himself as the pilot of Slave I, the Gotal displayed fear. He reprimanded Elmyo for his demeanor towards Fett and exhibited nervousness while requesting the Mandalorian to confirm his identity.
