The creature
On the Forest Moon of Endor, there existed at least one member of a species characterized by furred, two-legged bodies and green tongues. These creatures possessed sharp teeth and eyes of a red hue. In one instance, such a creature launched an assault on a group of mimphs, attempting to eat them. However, the Ewoks known as Wicket Wystri Warrick and Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka intervened, arriving on a skin glider to rescue the mimphs from the predator.
This particular creature makes an appearance during the introductory sequence of the second season of the Ewoks animated show. It is worth noting, however, that this beast is absent from all other episodes of the aforementioned series.
