On Naboo, the pilot's Tribubble bongo provides underwater transit In the early years of the Galactic Civil War (1 BBY), a Gungan, piloting a Bongo submersible, escorted a Star Tours StarSpeeder 1000 through the core of Naboo to a Rebel hangar. This occurred after the StarSpeeder 1000 submerged to evade Vulture droids engaged in the ensuing battle overhead, and following the destruction of its initial escort of three N-1 starfighters. The Bongo was then waylaid by an Opee sea killer, but it escaped its grasp thanks to a Sando aqua monster.
