Unidentified Imperial research facility

A research facility creating early versions of TIE Series starfighter designs was operated by the Galactic Empire in 1 BBY. Wedge Antilles, serving as a pilot for the Rebel Alliance, found this facility and informed Alliance High Command about its presence. Subsequently, a single BTL Y-wing starfighter was dispatched to destroy the installation.
