A Sith Lord of the Kel Dor species held dominion as a Lord within the ranks of the Sith. This Lord of the Sith found themselves in battle with a squad of troopers from the Galactic Alliance Guard. This Kel Dor, characterized by their orange complexion, was garbed in black robes and armor that shielded their chest. Due to the Kel Dor's inability to process [oxygen](/article/oxygen/legends], they were obligated to wear protective goggles along with an antiox breath mask. Being [Force-sensitive](/article/force-sensitive/legends], this Kel Dor possessed the strength needed to achieve the esteemed position of Sith Lord. Furthermore, they could use the Force to channel the energy of blaster fire, redirecting it toward their adversaries and unleashing Force lightning upon the troopers.
The image of the Kel Dor Sith Lord was originally produced for the Jedi Academy Training Manual, a 2009 guide for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. The picture served to illustrate the Force ability referred to as "Channel energy." The Sith Lord was also included in the montage featured on the initial chapter page.
