A member of the Lioaoi species held the position of commanding officer at the time the Chiss spacecraft, known as the Springhawk, made a visit to the Lioaoin heartworld.
This particular Lioaoi in charge was a character featured within the pages of the 2020 book Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, authored by Timothy Zahn.
