This MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser saw action with the Alliance Fleet in the initial stages of the Galactic Civil War.
As part of the Rebel Command Fleet dispatched to eliminate the Death Star II, the vessel fell victim to the Imperial trap intended for the Rebel Alliance. It was among a number of Mon Calamari cruisers, including the Liberty, that were obliterated by the battle station's superlaser.
For quite some time, many fans thought this vessel was the Defiance from the X-wing computer games. However, this was proven false by the Jedi Knights Trading Card Game, which indicated that the Defiance lived through the Battle of Endor.
