An uncharted world situated in the Unknown Regions served as the original home of the Storm-hair species. The Chosen, Warlord Nuso Esva's warriors, were Storm-hairs, and they annihilated numerous other species and planets before Esva met his death in 8 ABY during a battle on Quethold, a planet in the Unknown Regions. This occurred at the hands of Grand Admiral Thrawn's stormtroopers of the Empire of the Hand who he commanded.
Timothy Zahn made reference to this planet in his novella Crisis of Faith. This novella was included in the 20th Anniversary Edition of his novel Heir to the Empire, which was originally published in 1991, with the anniversary edition released in 2011.
