This rebel soldier, serving as a crew member on a House of Tagge merchant ship, found himself under attack by the forces of the Galactic Empire. The assault was carefully orchestrated to appear as though the Alliance to Restore the Republic was responsible. Adrift in the void of space, he was spotted and subsequently rescued by Han Solo and Chewbacca. Before the Millennium Falcon was forced to flee an approaching Imperial squadron en route to The Wheel for refuge, the soldier managed to inform Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia Organa about the Empire's deception. Sadly, the rebel soldier succumbed to his wounds from the conflict. Chewbacca then took care of the body while Solo, Organa, R2-D2, and C-3PO attempted to assist Luke Skywalker.
