In the year 0 BBY, this squadron launched an assault on the Imperial occupied planet of Ord Biniir, an event that was subsequently named the First Battle of Ord Biniir. Ultimately, the squadron succeeded in seizing control of the planet for the Alliance, overcoming the 233rd Imperial Fighter Group.
