An avian race existed upon an uncharted planet. These beings possessed a tribal society, dwelling within caverns situated in the towering summits of their world, and held the conviction that conflict amongst sentient lifeforms was an unnatural occurrence. As the Galactic Civil War raged, they came across a party of spacers who had accidentally discovered their world. During the process of familiarizing themselves with the newcomers, a severe blizzard struck. The avians sought refuge, but a juvenile member of their species sustained injuries during the tempest. The spacers provided aid to the young avian, rescuing him from impending death. As an expression of their appreciation, the avians gifted the spacers bags filled with hezar stones that were valued at thousands of credits.
