University of Commenor

The university situated on the planet of Commenor was known as the University of Commenor. As the Separatist Crisis neared its end, a substantial peace demonstration occurred there. At this gathering, Senator Padmé Amidala delivered a speech against the war, famously stating: "Warfare is the product of cowardice; it takes bravery to forego easy answers and find peaceful resolutions." This declaration, along with its connections to Amidala, the University itself, and the broader peace movement, provoked considerable disapproval from veterans of the Republic and those working in law enforcement.
