The University of Garos, situated on Garos IV within Ariana, housed a significant collection of Imperial documentation. These records had somehow evaded the data cleansing operations carried out by Ysanne Isard. Consequently, once Garos became part of the New Republic in the aftermath of the Thrawn campaign, historians and scientists from the New Republic flocked to the University's data archives.
