Unsuke was a male from the planet Rei'izu. In his youth, the Sith seized control of his homeworld, leading to his forced enlistment as a trooper in the Sith rebellion. He belonged to a cohort of ten conscripts, among whom were Ekiya, Sue, Haba, Shogo, and Kabeji. A single week following their departure from their home planet, the rebellion's leader—the Dark Lord of the Sith, later known as the Ronin—turned against his Sith comrades. With the rebellion's downfall, Rei'izu vanished, leaving behind only empty space. The Sith commander overseeing Unsuke and his unit directed them to mount a final defense against the Jedi and the Empire. However, they plotted to assassinate the commander to gain their freedom. They accomplished this, although only six members of the group remained alive after the revolt.
Subsequently, he embarked on a quest for indications pointing to a concealed Sith faction or an individual seeking vengeance against him.
