Hi there! Congratulations for finding this specific page on the internet, among all the others that exist. Whether you arrived here intentionally or by chance, a warm welcome to you! I am Shreekomandar, but you can simply call me Shreek, although I do prefer my full name.

My name is a combination of the first part of my real-life name and the word "commander," which is a reference to an inside joke.

I considered adding some links here, but more experienced and knowledgeable people have already done a great job of that, so I will refrain from doing so.

I identify as an introvert, although I am capable of extensive conversation when necessary. However, I generally prefer to keep to myself. My initial exposure to the Star Wars universe occurred when I received a LEGO set. I purchased it purely because I thought it looked cool, and that's where my love for Star Wars began, at the age of six in 2013. My initial interactions with Star Wars were through Lego sets, and in 2014, I finally acquired DVDs of the first six movies. I watched them all within three days, and that truly ignited my passion for the franchise. My affection for LEGO has not diminished in the slightest, and I still enjoy playing with them, even though I don't always have the time.

I find the realm of imagination more appealing than the real world and spend most of my time there. I also have a bad habit of digressing into tangents, and I hope you can bear with me on that. I reside somewhere in India (the country, not the regions in the USA). My hobbies include writing books that I later regret, reading about Indian history, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, contributing to the Wook, and playing Minecraft and with my LEGO pieces. I am a devoted fan of fantasy and historical fiction, and my writing tends to reflect those genres.

My favorite books include:

  • Sapiens, Homo Deus, and 21 Lessons for the 21st century, by Yuval Noah Harari
  • The Adventures of Feluda, by Satyajit Ray
  • The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R Tolkien
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams
  • Masala Labs, by Krish Ashok
  • Troy, by Stephen Fry
  • Harshacharita, by Bhanabhatta.

I often fancy myself as a writer, but everything I create seems terrible in retrospect. I refer to this phenomenon as 'The Twenty Minute Rule,' where everything seems flawed after twenty minutes of working on it.

Contrary to popular belief, I also enjoy the Sequel Trilogy. I simply believe they are overshadowed by the other films. If I disregard their connection to the broader franchise, they would surpass my personal favorite movie, Return of the Jedi.

And that's all I can write for now. So please, contemplate the sheer improbability of your existence, of arriving at this page out of all the pages on the internet, of being a part of this community, of being a part of the world, of making the choices you have made. Reflect on the past and marvel at how unlikely it is that you are even alive.
