Hello! After a period of inactivity, I chose to create a fresh account, retiring my previous one from years ago. I intend to make updates to this space, and I'm optimistic it will happen soon.
I penned those words more than three years in the past... However, I've returned for real, having recovered from the emotional impact of The Clone Wars' conclusion.
My introduction to Star Wars occurred through LEGO sets around the age of 4 or 5 (according to my parents' recollection), and from that point on, the rest unfolded. I've watched each feature film starting with Attack of the Clones in cinemas, Revenge of the Sith marked my first experience with a PG-13 movie in a theater, and I was present for opening night screenings of all Sequel Trilogy episodes. (And perhaps Rogue One too? My memory is hazy.)
My affection for The Clone Wars and Rebels is immense; I had to push myself to complete the initial season of Resistance, and I discontinued watching after that. I also appreciate Mando, though not to the same degree -- the limited episode count of 16 feels insufficient. I long for the reintegration of certain elements from the Star Wars: Clone Wars micro-series into the official canon (primarily driven by nostalgic feelings), although it appears improbable considering the comprehensive development of that era. Nevertheless, with Durge's inclusion in canon (I really need to start reading Aphra) I maintain optimism!
