Re: Appearances
Regarding sourcebooks like the Galaxy Guides, it's not necessary to include them in the "Appearances" section. I used to do that as well, until someone corrected me. The "Appearances" section should be reserved for novels, comics, TV shows, movies, games, etc. Sources, on the other hand, encompass source material like magazines, gaming books, strategy guides, character encyclopedias, and similar resources. Hopefully, this clarifies things! Trak Nar Ramble on 21:20, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
- I believe that is the case, but I am not completely certain. Trak Nar Ramble on 21:27, December 13, 2011 (UTC) I'm unsure exactly why the action was flagged. It could be an automated security measure, as we have multiple systems in place to prevent vandalism, and many of these relate to restrictions on new users' actions. Therefore, I have moved it for you. :) Trak Nar Ramble on 21:36, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
Re:2 ABY
Hi Matthias! About the sources, the individual stories from Star Wars Adventure Journal x should be listed in the "Appearances" section, not the "Sources" section. Concerning the punctuation, I'm not an expert, but I am maintaining consistency with the standard article format. Imperators II(Talk) 19:41, December 16, 2011 (UTC)
Dolla system
The information was removed because it was deemed unnecessary. The page "Dolla" should not have been moved to "Dolla system" to begin with. There is absolutely no mention of a "Dolla system" in Galaxy Guide 10; the term "Dolla system" was first used in The Essential Atlas. The creation of a separate article for Dolla - which is the term used in Galaxy Guide 10 - has made the behind-the-scenes note redundant. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 19:50, February 7, 2016 (UTC)
Ciders
No worries--I've experienced far worse instances of conflicting edits! :) Regarding Cider/Legends, my knowledge is limited to finding Jaffa cider in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, but that source didn't specify that it was alcoholic; I still need to check the other source. However, I did research canon Cider! Among the canon ciders, Spice Runner Hard Cider is alcoholic, Spiced Surabat Cider exists in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic forms, and Fruit cider doesn't indicate whether it contains alcohol or not. I'm not sure if splitting the category is justified given the small number of items, but perhaps there are other ciders that haven't been categorized yet? Immi Thrax (talk) 18:04, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Oops, I apologize for the delayed response! Thanks to you as well for the fact-checking! I believe I worded the initial sentence of Cider/Legends in a confusing way—would you be willing to review it and see if you can improve the wording? :) Immi Thrax (talk) 22:52, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
