Talk: ChronoKeeperStudios

Greetings, esteemed colleague

Hello Senator, welcome back. You might recall our interactions from the online forum where we role-played as senators.--ZapikCZ (talk) 18:15, July 14, 2017 (UTC)

Indeed. I have recollections of our discussions on /r/StarWars and other online spaces. --SenatorConfer

Page Creation Guidelines

Thank you for initiating the Star Wars: The Last Jedi (novel) page. However, it's important to include credible sources on the page. This helps prevent its potential removal due to being considered fan-created content or similar reasons. Thank you. --Lewisr (talk) 22:30, July 21, 2017 (UTC)

Discussion Forum Etiquette

Hello SenatorConfer! I've observed several instances, such as Talk:Anakin Skywalker/Legends and Talk:Karen Traviss, where you've responded to comments made years ago, emphasizing that talk pages are for discussing the article itself, not the subject matter. While this is accurate, replying to long-dormant conversations is generally unnecessary. The original participants are likely no longer active, so your responses don't contribute meaningfully to the talk page. It's not a major issue, but I wanted to inform you so you can avoid this in the future! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:18, July 2, 2018 (UTC)

  • My apologies, I tend to focus on correcting inaccurate statements and overlook the posting dates. I take responsibility for this oversight. SenatorConfer ( talk ) 18:26, July 2, 2018 (UTC)

Restrictions on Resistance Content

Currently, we are unable to incorporate content into Resistance pages until the initial broadcast in Eastern time, as per the spoiler policy --Lewisr (talk) 21:09, November 24, 2019 (UTC)

Editorial Precision

Please exercise caution when deleting tweets from articles. On occasion, you have removed essential infobox parameters alongside the tweet, as demonstrated here. Tommy Macaroni 19:28, April 12, 2020 (UTC)

  • I apologize for the error. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will exercise greater care in future corrections. Keeper of the Timeline ( talk ) 19:30, April 12, 2020 (UTC)

BBY Chronological Designations

Even if the final publication of Timelines includes the preview page's clarification that year 1 BBY concludes at the onset of the battle, adopting this approach for the wiki might not be ideal. In many cases, we lack precise information to determine whether an event described as "nine years before Yavin" occurred 8.8 years prior (placing it in 9 BBY) or 9.2 years prior (placing it in 10 BBY). The choices are to presume 9 BBY or use the somewhat clumsy "c.9 BBY" approximation, which Timelines also employs, despite the authors potentially having access to Pablo Hidalgo's detailed internal timeline. This timeline, for instance, marks the beginning of 1 BBY in "May 1976", which is the foundation for Lothal Years and C.R.C.

Alternatively, maintaining the current numbering system while substituting phrases like "in 9 BBY" with "nine years BBY", or even better, "BSW4", could significantly enhance the accuracy and clarity of articles. Furthermore, it would relegate the ABY/BBY system from a strict calendar to a mere internal convention, aligning with the idea that Star Wars lacks a single, universally accepted system.
