The Vagaari assault group represented the Vagaari Empire's naval fleet. Mara Jade Skywalker, previously an Emperor's Hand, theorized that this assault group contained a number of substantial Vagaari military vessels.
Timothy Zahn referenced the Vagaari attack force in his novel Survivor's Quest, published in 2004.
