Valiant, a commander within the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic, was an Advanced Recon Commando during the Clone Wars era. In the closing days of the conflict, specifically 19 BBY, this Clone Commander found himself stationed on Coruscant, the Republic's capital world. He was assigned to a clone commandos task force under the command of High Jedi General Mace Windu.
His leadership extended to Aurek Team and Bacta Team as they participated in the hunt for Darth Sidious. Mace Windu and Shaak Ti were accompanied by him and his teams during the search for Sidious, which took place in the LiMerge Building, located in The Works. The pursuit eventually led them to the lower sectors of 500 Republica, where Valiant remained when the invasion of Coruscant commenced.
It was there that they located Sidious. Guarding the Sith Lord beneath 500 Republica were Geonosians wielding sonic blasters and blaster-armed droids. Both he and Aurek Team were killed in this encounter. The Sith Lord also employed the Force against Aurek Team.
