Vendi Kjleno served as a member of the armed forces within the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. He participated in the Battle of Yavin and subsequently gained recognition as a celebrated figure of the war. However, by the year 1 ABY, Imperial forces ambushed him while he was located in the Endor system. The Jade Starunner, his spacecraft, was destroyed in the skies above the Forest Moon of Endor, resulting in Vendi Kjleno's death. Shortly after this event, an explorer named Tinrilo x'Rilsam came across the remains of the Jade Starunner following its crash on Endor. Within the debris, the explorer located a damaged datadisk that held details regarding the Jade Starunner's final journey and the destiny of the esteemed war hero.
