Vertigon gas

Vertigon gas was a type of gas that was nonfatal and white in color, with symptoms that involved impaired balance and unclear speech. During the sabotage of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Chimaera in 0 ABY, Storm-hair Warlord Nuso Esva employed vertigon gas as a means of disabling the personnel of the Star Destroyer. Commander Gilad Pellaeon, who served as the warship's third bridge officer, put on a breath mask just before Esva's gas could render him helpless. Subsequently, the commander communicated that the warlord was utilizing vertigon gas via the Chimaera's emergency communication channel. Not long after, Pellaeon engaged in conversation with the Star Destroyer's sensor officer, noticing that the officer's speech was becoming unclear because of the effects of Esva's gas.
