The Vir Vurs existed as creatures within Star Wars Galaxies, the MMORPG developed by Sony Online Entertainment, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011. For a considerable duration, Vir Vurs occasionally appeared with the erroneous designation "Vir Vir". This anomaly was rectified through the implementation of Game Update 17 in June of 2010.
