The Vlassy Nature Preserve, a protected area for wildlife, existed in a remote location alongside the Vlassy River on Garqi. Situated eight hundred kilometers to the southeast of Pesktda, this Preserve attracted both residents of Garqi and visitors from other planets. Because of its landscape, characterized by wooded cliffs and deep gorges, agricultural development was considered impractical, leading to its designation as a nature preserve from the very beginning of the planet's history.
The rdava-birds within the Preserve began to experience a decline in their population as a consequence of a neurotoxin released from Chine Gabbard's research facility.
