Vo Lantes functioned as an operative for the Rebel Alliance, with his assignment being the procurement of necessary resources. He belonged to the logistical network established by Redda Macrebe, another agent. Along the Trax Tube, he both owned and managed a series of shops selling second-hand droid units. This business served as a front, enabling him to supply Rebel groups operating along the trade route with both customized droids and money. Deysum III was the location of Vo Lantes' main base of operations.
