The Vulkar shock stick functioned as a stun baton, albeit one modified with a more elevated frequency to inflict substantial physical harm. This weapon was the main choice of the Black Vulkars on Taris during the era of the Jedi Civil War. By concentrating electrical energy around the baton, it was able to produce severe injuries.
