The extensive obsidian asteroid field known as the Wall of Dantooine existed within the Dantooine system. Due to its unmanageable size, no single mining endeavor had ever taken control of the complete asteroid field. Serving as a helpful navigational point for those traversing the area, it extended across the visible horizon.
