It's believed that Wayland marble was a specific kind of rock originating from Wayland. The floors of the Imperial Palace were paved with tiles made of this marble. The cost was thought to be very high, with an estimated price of around five thousand credits per tile. The marble was said to have a see-through white color, highlighted by gold threads within it.
