Luke Skywalker is seen hanging onto a weather vane
Vanes for scanning weather, otherwise known as weather vanes, existed on Cloud City as instruments. As a result of his injuries sustained during the duel on Cloud City, Luke Skywalker once found himself clinging to one of these vanes. Similarly, vanes were also present at Tipoca City located on Kamino; their purpose was to give weather updates or to alter the atmospheric conditions indoors.
